Beginning next spring (2011), New River Gorge visitors will be able to walk across the New River Gorge Bridge, 850 feet above the mighty New River. This trek takes place on a 24-inch wide walkway under the Bridge called a Catwalk. The catwalk runs the entire 3030 foot length of the Bridge.

Panoramic breathtaking views

Wildlife
Area History
Low Impact, Soft Adventure
Tours will operate year-round, weather permitting for all ages and abilities. Bridge Walk is for anyone who is healthy, willing and able to walk. The Bridge Walk guest will feel a sense of exhiliration, excitement, and awe viewing the New River Gorge panorama. The tour will be 2.5-4 hours in length with a minimum group size of 4 people.

To start, Nick, where is my customer appreciation card, lol. But really, I have rafted alot and so has my brother. We came with 3 other rafters and we want to give a standing ovation to Nick. He was the best guide ever. Same, fun, entertaining. Their wasn't a silent or boaring moment in the raft. Everone was very happy. The next day goes to Robert, he was fun, kept us safe, and a ball of fun full of jokes from the beginning. The rubber snake was classic. And last Shauna from the office, you got me through some really tough group planning issues and you had more patience and understanding than I could have ever exspected.
