FLOAT FISHING FOR SMALL MOUTH BASS IN WEST VIRGINIA
 The New River Gorge National River offers 53 miles of world-class small mouth bass river fishing with the New River has long been rated as one of the top rivers for small mouth bass fishing in the country. The abundance of New River smallmouth bass is due in part to the inaccessibility of the New River Gorge and the success of catch and release fishing. Twelve miles of the New River have been designated as catch and release small mouth bass fishing. We offer both fly fishing and spin fishing options from half day trips to overnights.FLOAT FISHING – FULL DAY TRIPS  This West Virginia fishing trip goes out in the early morning, allowing you approximately 8 hours of prime West Virginia small mouth bass fishing. Covering seven to twelve miles of the best fishing on New River, depending upon water level, this trip will expose you to a wide variety of fishing situations. Spin fishing and fly fishing for small mouth bass are both options on this trip. Please be sure to request the proper gear. Gourmet riverside lunch, drinks, snacks, tackle and transportation to and from the river are provided for you. FLOAT FISHING – HALF DAY TRIPS This trip goes out when small mouth are often most active, early morning or late afternoon. If you are on a tight schedule but still want to experience small mouth bass fishing on the New River...this trip is for you. This fishing trip will give you approximately 4 hours of quality smallmouth bass fishing. Snacks, drinks, tackle and transportation to and from the river are provided for you.
OVERNIGHT FISHING TRIPS If you really want a chance to relax and enjoy the beauty of the New River then two or three days of fishing are definitely better than one.  Day one of your fishing trip is spent pursuing New River smallies until your appetite can’t take it anymore. Then it’s time to head to the riverside camp for relaxation and a feast. We have a designated gear boat and “gear boater” that sets up the camp long before we arrive. When we hit the beach your tent with sleeping cots are set up and your dry gear is waiting for you. Once you settle in, a superb steak dinner with all the trimmings like salad, corn on the cob, baked potato, hot bread and of course dessert will be prepared to perfection. The next morning you’ll wake up to the smell of fresh coffee and the splendor of the river. We prepare a large breakfast that includes eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, cereal, orange juice, milk and cinnamon apples. Soon after breakfast you’re on your way for another spectacular day of fishing on the New. Our most popular float trips are our two and three day trips but we can arrange float trips up to five days in length. All meals, drinks, tackle and transportation are provided for you.
