The New River Gorge Adventure Center is a great alternative for groups of all shapes and sizes. Since 1980, we have been offering group trips for families, school and university groups, annual gatherings of friends, corporate, youth groups and clubs the best in West Virginia adventure combined with high-value lodging packages.
In a world littered with video games and amusement park rides, true natural thrills have become difficult to find. That is what makes our Rivermen group trips so wonderful. We have pioneered special Rivermen Adventure Discovery Programs for youth designed specifically for younger outdoor enthusiasts. Allowing for a variety of age and experience levels, this program delivers a diverse outdoor program with lots of excitement for everyone. From ministry groups and church groups to father/son groups, we love them all. Our staff can help you carve out special time for learning and sharing while your group enjoys the camaraderie and teamwork an adventure trip naturally inspires.
- Scout Groups
Our Scout Troup guests love the range of activities we offer at the New River Gorge Adventure Center. With top safety policies and precautions in place, we can help you host a fun-filled scout group trip complete with games, athletic challenge and learning, all wrapped into one!
- Adventures for Middle/High School Groups
Over the years we’ve hosted hundreds of class trips for high school students who want some learning outside of the classroom environment. A great way to breathe some fresh energy back into your group and reinvigorate the universal connection we all have to nature.
- Adventures for University Student Groups Many of our group organizers learn about Rivermen while on a trip with friends or family and then go on to organize group trips with their university or college recreational programs, residency hall getaways and club and sororities or fraternities. It doesn’t get more fun than this!
