The lower section of the New River, from Thurmond to Fayette Station, is one of the most popular whitewater trips in the country. It features over 25 rapids--a dazzling combination of beautiful scenery, calm, relaxing pools, and fantastic whitewater. On day 2 you will head out to test your ropes on a half-day rock climb and repel, then after lunch, you will climb aboard “Miss M Rocks” and see the New river from a different point of view. On day 3, take the reins at being an equestrian through some of WV’s most beautiful overlook trails.
