The New River Gorge area hosts many fun annual events for families and friends visiting this adventure mecca in Southern West Virginia.
THEMED WEEKEND CONTESTS
At the New River Gorge Adventure Center, we host our very popular themed Family Adventure Weekends. These weekends are a big hit with lots of participation! What people won't do for FREE RAFTING! By participating in our fun contests at Adventures On the Gorge, you and your family can win great prizes! Our contest prizes change by the contest, however, so pay attention and keep checking back at www.Rivermen.com to see what's new.
- Grand Prize
Contest winners will receive a boatload (up to 8 at one time) of free New River rafting. This is a HUGE prize value! Judging will take place on Saturday nights and winners will be announced then. Some restrictions do apply, so call for more information.
LIVE MUSIC
Don’t forget about our showcase of local foot stompin’ musical talent every Saturday night at the New River Gorge Adventure Center! Our line-up features groups such as the Rust Kings, the Half-Bad Bluegrass Band, and other local favorites. Check back regularly here for news about upcoming bands.
The Rendezvous Lodge is a happening place on most weekends with great live entertainment. Our Summer Concert Series hosts well-known regional bands on Sunday nights. There is a cover charge for these 3 events.
