Summersville
lake, West Virginia is also home to the Summersville Dam which spawned the world famous Gauley River Season. The
Gauley River offers some of the best whitewater rafting in the East
on one of the major rivers of West Virginia. Enthusiasts can also
enjoy swimming, small mouth bass and trout fishing, scuba diving,
hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing near Summersville. Other
