This whitewater rafting adventure on the Gauley River in West Virginia is going to work you to the bone. You're going to get all of the intensity of an Upper Gauley rafting trip twice in two days! On day one of your West Virginia vacation, you will tackle rafting on the Upper/Middle Gauley River dropping whitewater rapids like the mile-long Lost Paddle, the renowned Pillow Rock and the one and only Sweet's Falls rapids. Your unforgettable West Virginia rafting won't stop there! You'll get another bonus of 5 more whitewater miles complete with opportunites for jumping off of rocks, swimming whitewater rapids, conquering a sith Class V rapid and seeing the picturesque West Virginia canyons that you have missed earlier in the day.
On day 2, you'll head back to the Upper Gauley River to defeat the big whitewater rafting Class V rapids again! Your second Upper Gauley River white water rafting trip will let you make amends with any rapid that had your number the day before or to get even higher on Pillow Rock and improve your already awesome Gauley River photos.
*2010 Season runs Friday-Monday, September 10th-October 17th. Keep in mind that October 16th is West Virginia's famous Bridge Day. We will also be running the Lower New River on that day

While the river level was extremely low, your staff made the overall experience GREAT!! The guys in our group didn't know each other very well before this trip and our guide made our experience a ton of fun, despite the slow river and us not knowing each other very well. Julia Schneider did an excellent job of having fun and being personable with all of us and I appreciate that. Thanks Julia!! The food back at the camp was great and the trip leader was hilarious as well. Overall, it was a great experience and well worth the long trip!! Thanks to everyone, I'll definitely recommend Rivermen to friends for future trips.
