This Double Upper Gauley rafting trip is truly unique; not only do you get to raft the 335 foot descent of the Gauley River over a 9 mile stretch of whitewater once, you get to do it twice, in one day!
You will definitely experience that nonstop adrenaline you have been seeking on this action-packed advanced rafting run not for the feint of heart. Out of 80 rapids on this section, ten are world-renowned Class V rapids. As water levels vary from morning to afternoon, you’ll witness the ever-changing characteristics of the Upper Gauley River.
*2010 Season runs Friday-Monday, September 10th-October 17th. Keep in mind that October 16th is West Virginia's famous Bridge Day. We will also be running the Lower New River on that day..

Loved the cabin we stayed in, very authentic . The people were ALL very friendly and helpful. The Gauntlet Gauley run was fantastic...but gotta give props to our guide "Nugget" AKA Nick! He totally rocked! We have a great time, even the food at lunch was really good nice to have hot food while rafting!. Thanks, hope we get to visit again!!!!!!
