Gauley River Overnight
About This Trip
We think the best way to take advantage of the outdoors is to be there in comfort. We're not talking about fine linens or satellite dishes, rather you will be camping at our exclusive riverside camp site. We handle most camp chores, leaving you time to relax and enjoy your outdoor experience. After rafting on the Upper Gauley on day one and pulling into camp, our cooks will amaze you with everything from appetizers, favorite beverages, grilled entrees, to desserts. On day two after enjoying your hearty breakfast, experience the Lower Gauley. The Upper Gauley is big, steep, challenging and no place to find out that you're afraid of whitewater. World famous rapids are Pillow Rock, Lost Paddle, Iron Ring, and Sweets Falls. Meet the Upper Gauley's kinder, gentler, but no less thrilling sibling on day two. Rapids that await you are Canyon Doors, Roller Coaster, Heaven Help You, and Pure Screaming Hell.
*2008 Season runs Friday-Monday, September 5-October 6 and Saturday-Sunday, October 11-12. Extra Release on Sunday, October 19.
