You've done the New River, challenged the Lower Gauley and now you're ready for the next step up with this extreme Upper Gauley River rafting lodging and meal package.

The Upper Gauley is continuous, big volume, gut-wrenching whitewater from start to finish and drops over 335 feet in less than 9 miles with over 40 action-packed rapids and 5 of them, boat-crunching Class V's. Since you’ll need a few calories to stockpile for this adrenaline rush, we add a hot country breakfast buffet, riverside lunch and hearty dinner buffet to 2 nights of the lodging of your choice to your one day Upper Gauley rafting.

Due to the intense nature of this trip, prior rafting experience and the ability for self-rescue are highly recommended. This package is the ultimate West Virginia rafting weekend!

I've done some small rafting elsewhere in the world but nothing I'd done compared with the rush of the Gauley River or the experience of doing with Rivermen. They had fun with it and the guides seem to enjoy their job as much as we enjoyed the ride.
